Mashpee Commons to Host Boston 25 News Zip Trip on Friday, July 25
July 15, 2025 (Mashpee, Mass.) — Mashpee Commons will host Boston 25 News for the station’s Mashpee Zip Trip on Friday, July 25. The entire community is invited to come be part of the live audience and enjoy the festival-like atmosphere from 7-10 AM that morning.
This is the 22nd season of Boston 25’s popular Zip Trip series, which showcases the unique charm, pride and appeal of various communities across Massachusetts, while telling the stories of their people and places. Boston 25 News anchors Gene Lavanchy, Nicole Gabe and meteorologist Shiri Spear will be on-site at Mashpee Commons interviewing local business owners, community leaders and personalities who make Mashpee the thriving community it is. The broadcast will also include a pre-recorded tour of the town featuring Mashpee’s rich history and distinct charm.
Among the guests slated to be interviewed are Ashley Irene Boutique, Bleu Restaurant, Bobby Byrnes, Hot Diggity, Verde, Mashpee Police, Mashpee Public Schools, Cape Cod Children’s Museum, and many others.
