Whistle Stop Ice Cream has been serving up happiness one scoop at a time to Cape Cod visitors and residents – young and old – since 1983 at its Monument Beach location at 430 Shore Road.

Whistle Stop has expanded to its second location at Mashpee Commons, and is now offering more than 40 flavors of classic and specialty ice creams, frozen yogurts and sherbets.

When Don and Wanda Myers purchased the business in 2019, they kept the Whistle Stop Ice Cream legacy alive, and since then, they’ve added new favorites including Wanda’s Whim – ice cream cakes and pies as well as ice cream cookie sandwiches. Whistle Stop is also becoming fast known as the “Home of the Smokestack” – a treat featuring stacked layers of multiple ice cream flavors, whipped cream and toppings all in a tall clear cup.
