StoryWalks with the Mashpee Public Library

Families are invited to join us on Mondays from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on the Village Green across the street from the Mashpee Public Library for a StoryWalk. This is a great opportunity to visit the library while still remaining socially distant! What is a StoryWalk? It is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are attached to stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story.
A take home craft for children will be provided at the end of the StoryWalk by the Mashpee Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant. The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in cooperation with the Kellogg Hubbard Library and the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition.
StoryWalks will run every Monday between 10AM – 12PM from March 29th to June 14th.
