There’s only one way to celebrate a race that will witness 13 teams and over 100 participants ruck through every town on Cape Cod over the course of 36 hours — with a party at Cape Cod Coffee @ Mashpee Commons.
The post-race party will be a family-friendly affair with face painting as well as games, including cornhole and Jenga. A variety of food, including burgers, hot dogs, chicken, pizza, and pasta salad, as well as drinks will be available for purchase.
Bo Swayze of West Yarmouth, a Marine veteran and a marketing consultant at Cape Cod Radio, will serve as the master of ceremonies. Entertainment will kick off at noon with musician Rick Lockwood who will be followed by Beautiful Tuesday, performing from 2 to 4 pm, and Carly Tefft, closing out the party from 4 to 6 pm

ABOUT HEROES IN TRANSITION
Heroes In Transition will be bringing back Ruck4HITCapeCod – a relay event consisting of up to 20 teams who will run 200+ miles through all 15 towns on the Cape from the early morning hours of Friday April 29, 2022 to Saturday afternoon April 30, 2022. The route begins in Bourne, MA and continues to Provincetown. Athletes will then head back towards the finish line at Cape Cod Coffee Cafe in Mashpee Commons. Each athlete will run 2-4 miles at a time with a 10-20 pound ruck sack on his/her back as the teams complete the route in relay format, running non-stop until the mission is complete.
