While it may feel like we just got through February Vacation, April break is here and the kids are home for another week! If you’re seeking some fun activities to do with the fam this week, Mashpee Commons has you covered. From awesome dining deals to activities that are perfect for the kids and the kids at heart, there’s plenty to do right here in Mashpee. Riddle Cape Cod Can your family solve the riddle and escape? Riddle (located on Market Street near the Organic Market & Cape Cod Coffee) will be open every day during April Vacation from 1-9 PM weekdays and 10-10 PM Saturday and Sunday with games running in all of their rooms. Keep the kiddos minds moving with challenging, all-ages appropriate escape rooms including your last chance to play The Land of Swirly Twirly Gumdrops game before it closes on April 29th to make room for the new game ‘The Secret of Dragon’s Spire.’ Tickets can be purchased at the door but advanced reservations online are recommended to secure your spot.

LanesBowl all week with The Lanes! Our friends at The Lanes Bowl & Bistro are running kids’ themed bowling & activities from 10a AM – 5 PM Monday-Friday of school vacation week. Take $5 off on Monday for wearing your Red Sox gear, $5 off on Tuesday if you come in with a wacky hairdo or outfit and their super-popular Wednesday Family Nights are back where you can bowl from 4-midnight with four bowlers for $40!

Cook up some fun at Williams Sonoma! Williams-Sonoma is hosting several cooking classes throughout the week, though the family highlight is the American Girl donut class on Saturday, April 14th at 10 AM. You and your little ones will learn how to make a batch of these sweet treats, and the $30 reservation fee includes a donut pan for your Junior Chef. Schedule the sitter for Wednesday, April 18th and join Williams Sonoma for a grown-ups night out during their Cookbook Club featuring Cacio e Pepe with Pancetta and Salted Dark Chocolate Chunk brownies from Giada de Laurentiis’ new cookbook. Express yourself at the Painting for Kids class at the Cape Cod Art Bar. Flex those creative muscles at the Painting for Kids class hosted by the Cape Cod Art Bar on April 16th from 1-3:30 PM. $30 per painter includes all supplies and instruction. These classes are geared towards children in K-5th grade, though younger kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Participants will learn techniques and have their imagination guided throughout the painting process, and will go home with new skills and a completed painting!
