Join us for the last Sidewalk Festival of the year, happening this Saturday!

magic showJoin us for our final Sidewalk Festival of the season happening this Saturday, September 15th from 12-6pm. You’ll find live music, complimentary face painting, balloon animals, sidewalk chalk galore, a photo contest, sidewalk sales, and more taking place throughout the neighborhood! Check out the detailed list of events below:

Face Painting:
12-6pm, Fountain Plaza, near Trevi Café Wine Bar & Market Street Bookshop

Balloon Animals & Glitter Tattoos:
12-6pm, near Hot Diggity & Port Cargo

Photo Contest:
– Snap a pic with the giant Dinosaur located at Fox + Kit Children’s Boutique
– Follow both Mashpee Commons and Fox + Kit Children’s Boutique on instagram
– Share your photo on instagram with the hashtags #mashpeecommons and #foxandkit
– One lucky winner will receive a $50 gift card to Fox + Kit!

Cornhole:
12-6pm, cornhole boards can be found throughout the Commons including in front of MOCEAN, Vineyard Vines Cape Cod, The Black Dog, Hot Diggity, Southern Tide, and at The Lanes Bowl & Bistro.

Sidewalk Chalk:
Chalk art demos, led by the The Cape Cod Art Bar, will be taking place from 12-4pm on the Fountain Plaza (near Market Street Bookshop and Trevi Cafe Wine Bar). Additionally, you can design your own chalk art creations with chalk located throughout the neighborhood from 12-6pm.

Magic Shows:
Catch a free magic show performed by Marcus the Magician with the Magicompany: Two 30 minute shows will take place at 2pm & 3pm, in Central Square, near Red Balloon Toy Shop

Bert Jackson Trio, 4-6pm, Central Square, near Red Balloon Toy Shop

You can also catch live music at the Bandstand this Saturday during our Fall Concert Series:
Molly Parmenter, 2-4pm
Melic Moon, 4:30-6pm

Doggie Adoption Event at The Black Dog
Stop by The Black Dog between 12-4pm to check out their Dog Adoption event. During the event, they’ll be donating 20% of sales to Survivor Tails Animal Rescue (STAR). Plus, the team from STAR will be on hand to share information about pet adoption. More details can be found here.
