Join us for our last (but not least) Sidewalk Festival of the Year, this Saturday!

Sep Sidewalk FestJoin us for our last Sidewalk Festival of the year, happening this Saturday, September 16th. The fun begins at 12pm with live music, complimentary face painting, sidewalk chalk galore, street performers and a sidewalk sale throughout the neighborhood. The festival runs through 6pm; wrapping up just in time to grab dinner at one of the many top-rated restaurants here in the neighborhood. Since there will be various activities taking place throughout Mashpee Commons, we’ve included a breakdown of the times/locations below to help you better plan your day:

Face Painting: Taking place from 12-6pm, near Hot Diggity and Port Cargo

Balloon Animals & Glitter Tattoos: Taking place from 12-6pm, near Suits You Swimwear, Siena Restaurant and Setting the Space.

Cornhole: During store hours, between 10am-6pm, cornhole boards can be found throughout the Commons including in front of MOCEANVineyard Vines, The Black Dog, and near Hot Diggity.

Sidewalk Chalk: Chalk art demos, led by the Cape Cod Art Bar, will be taking place from 12-4pm on the Fountain Plaza (near Market Street Bookshop and Trevi Café Wine Bar). Additionally, you can design your own chalk art creations with chalk located throughout the neighborhood.

Local Musicians & Street Performers:

Jordan Renzi: 12-1:30pm, Central Square, near Red Balloon Toy Shop

Palmer Egan: 2-3:30pm, Central Square, near Red Balloon Toy Shop

The Cat’s Melodeon: 3pm, Fountain Plaza, near the Market Street Bookshop 

Still Willow: 4:30-6pm, Fountain Plaza, near the Market Street Bookshop

Trevor the Juggler: 3:30-6pm, near The Lili PadMaiden Voyage, and Cape Kids 

Marcus the Magician: Central Square, near Red Balloon Toy Shop: Two 30 min performances at 4:30 & 5:30pm

99.9 The Q Live Broadcast: Cheryl Park from local radio station The Q will be broadcasting live from 4-6pm near Hot Diggity and Unique Boutique.

All activities are free and open to the public. And don’t forget, we host family-friendly events throughout the year. You can catch live music at the Bandstand every Thursday evening at 6pm through October 5th; Mashpee Commons Farmer’s Market in front of the Organic Market weekly in Sundays, 12-4pm, through October 8th; our Annual Halloween Parade on October 28th; and holiday activities beginning November 24th and running through December 23rd.
