St Patrick’s Day is here and if you can’t make it to Boston for the big parade, Mashpee Commons is the place to be! With seven restaurants and pubs, we have plenty of places to pour your perfect pint and grab a bite on St Patrick’s Day. Settle in for they day at one place, or hop from restaurant to restaurant trying different food and drink. Here are some of our recommendations:

Grab a beer and a pretzel burger at The Lanes Bowl & Bistro. With 15 beers on tap – and most of them local, and, of course Guinness, The Lanes is a lively, fun environment in which to spend an afternoon with family and friends. Grab one of their big burgers for yourself, or split one of their many ‘appy’tizers like buffalo chicken dip, an ahi tuna & avocado stack or pretzel sticks with your crew. If you need to recover the next morning, stop back in for their Bloody Good Brunch! Make sure to ask your server or bartender for their latest beer and drink specials.

What kind of St Patrick’s Day would it be without a stop in at Bobby Byrne’s Restaurant & Pub? An incomplete one! Bobby Byrne’s will be running special Irish meals all day on Saturday, including Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie and Guinness Battered Fish & Chips. Of course, the Guinness and other Irish brews will be flowing at the bar all day through breakfast, lunch dinner and late night.

Estia is a non-traditional option for your St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Be sure to get to our neighborhood Greek restaurant early, because they fill up quick and stay busy! Their strong craft beer selection features beers from Jack’s Abby, Otter Creek, Wormtown (their ‘Be Hoppy’ is excellent), Mayflower Brewing and more. Chow down on their coal fired pizzas, including the ‘Alessandra’ with crispy calamari and banana peppers, and the ‘Cretan’ with an eggplant spread base, goat cheese and tomatoes.

If you’re looking for a low-key lunch during the St Patrick’s Day festivities, the newly renovated Trevi Café & Wine Bar is a great option. Grab a cheese board (3 for $17 or 5 for $25) and a bottle of wine, or nibble on their small plates including shortrib hash, avocado salad and Chatham Mussels. For those with a bigger appetite, Trevi features sandwiches, pastas and entree sized salads on their lunch menu. In addition to their extensive wine list, Trevi offers a full bar, specialty cocktails, and fabulous beer list.
