This Saturday, April 1st, at exactly 12:00 noon, the future of entertainment on Cape Cod will change forever, and this is no April Fool’s joke! Join Riddle for a chance to win cool prizes during their Grand Opening celebration. Seven lucky winners will get a shot at solving the puzzle that magically unlocks the doors to this mysterious new business. We also heard that these seven lucky participants will win a $50 gift certificate from a Mashpee Commons merchant (Siena Restaurant, Bobby Byrnes, The Lanes Bowl and Bistro, Organic Market, MOCEAN, Modern Mix Giftery, and Gustare Oils and Vinegars), plus a coupon for a free game at Riddle, and a Riddle T-shirt! Bottom line, there will be epic amounts of fun taking place at Riddle! To participate, simply stop by Riddle at 12:00 Noon (SHARP) to receive a ticket and a chance to be randomly selected as one of the lucky seven to solve the puzzle.
On Sunday, April 2nd at exactly 1:00pm, the fun continues with Riddle’s Grand Opening Scavenger Hunt. Find characters such as a Pirate, a Vampire, or an Oompah Loompah, follow the clues they provide, solve the riddles, and you could win a “sweet” prize: a Ghelfi’s Candies of Cape Cod gift basket (valued at $150 – yum!), a coupon for a free game at Riddle, and a Riddle T-shirt. Interested attendees must be present in front of Riddle at 1:00pm (SHARP) in order to participate in the scavenger hunt, and should plan to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes. Think “Amazing Race”!
Immediately following the Scavenger Hunt, Riddle will present a check donation to local non-profit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands. Riddle chose to donate a portion of the proceeds from their opening weekend to this wonderful local organization in an effort to support their mission to serve more kids on the Cape & Islands.
Riddle, located at 61 Market Street (near the Organic Market), is an Escape Room consisting of six different games. An Escape Room (also known as Escape Game, Mystery Room) is a live action adventure game where players have 60 minutes to work together as a team to complete a mission by solving a series of puzzles, riddles and connecting clues. Each of the six games at Riddle has a unique theme with puzzles integrated into the storyline. Participants must use their wit, creativity, inquisitiveness, problem-solving skills and teamwork to successfully complete the mission.
It is Riddle’s goal to provide participants with the opportunity to put down the electronics, leave the real world behind and have a blast spending 60 minutes of quality time with family, friends, colleagues, and even strangers. Riddle is co-owned and created by Nicole Merriman and Ashley Carr, also co-owners of Hot Diggity. For more information, visit RiddleCapeCod.com or call 508-648-7664.
